Overview

Walking will be the best way to get around downtown Vancouver during the 2010 Winter Games. Thousands of residents and visitors will put on their walking shoes to go to 2010 Olympic and Paralympic events, attend the Live City celebrations, and even to get to and from work during Games time. As you walk around the city, you’ll meet people from across the street and around the world on the same street corners.

    Seawall

Due to the waterfront location of some 2010 Winter Games venues and celebration sites, there will be some seawall closures and rerouting for pedestrians, cyclists and rollerbladers beginning in November 2009 through to the end of March 2010.
All remaining seawall routes, including through Stanley Park, will remain fully open and accessible during this period.
