Venue Road Closures
The Vancouver 2010 Integrated Security Unit
(V2010-ISU) is responsible for securing the 2010 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games. It has mandated a number of security based road closures during the 2010 Winter Games to ensure the safety of athletes, officials as well as the general public.
The City has worked with VANOC and V2010-ISU to minimize the duration and impact of these closures on residents and businesses.
The following road closures are required to support 2010 Winter Games operations, and to ensure the safety of athletes, officials as well as the general public.
Those who live or work in these areas will continue to have access to their homes and/or workplaces. If you are affected by these security closures or have any questions, please visit the Vancouver 2010 Integrated Security Unit website, or contact the Public Affairs group by phone at 604.247.8600.
