Paralympic Transportation Plan
The Vancouver 2010 Paralympic Winter Games will begin on March 12, and end on March 21, 2010. Activity levels on City streets during this period will be closer to regular conditions.
No Olympic lanes or pedestrian corridors are required for the Paralympic Games. There will be limited road closures, and limited 24 hour parking and stopping restrictions.
Proposed temporary parking and stopping restrictions on the following streets will continue to be in effect up to March 21, 2010 in support of the Paralympic Games:
- Hastings St between Main St and Burrard St
- Smithe St between Expo St and Howe St
- Nelson St between Thurlow St and Beatty St
- King Edward Ave between Oak St and Sophia St
- Cambie St between King Edward Ave and 37th Ave
- 2nd/6th Ave between Hemlock St to Main St
- Main St from 2nd Ave to Terminal Ave

The Olympic Line: Vancouver’s 2010 streetcar will run through to the end of the Paralympic Games on March 21, 2010.
